JENNIFER

My name is Jennifer and I am a wife, mother of two, Clemson alumni, world traveler, coffee addict, Enneagram 3, and I'm pretty certain I could eat Chipotle every day. I’m also absolutely head-over-heels in love with my job photographing weddings. Working with people on the happiest day of their lives…what could be better than that?!
I'm grateful to have been in this industry for over 16 years and look forward to sharing my artistic vision with others. Keep reading to learn how I approach photographing weddings.

xoxo,

HEIRLOOM PHOTOGRAPHER

I feel so honored to be a part of every ceremony I photograph, and I treat both the day and the people involved with the highest level of respect. There are parts of the day when I will take charge in order to accomplish everything and stay on schedule, but I prefer to focus mainly on natural moments and emotions.

I also take a portion of the day for creative portraits where I'll be coaching and directing you more. I understand that each couple is unique in their style and personality, and my goal is to portray your love in a genuine way. I strive to capture the perfect combination of classic and fresh imagery.
I love to hear when couples share their galleries with family members who weren't able to physically be at their wedding, and they get responses telling them they feel like they experienced the entire day just by looking at their photos. I want you to always feel that way when you look back through your album and relive the feelings and memories from your first day as husband and wife.

I am a big believer that images are not meant to solely exist in a digital space. Think about this fact: when I first started fifteen years ago, I delivered images on DVDs. Unless those couples transferred their images to the cloud and backed them up diligently, those images may not be accessible now. With the fast updates to technology, even the current online galleries I deliver now may eventually become obsolete.

One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. They are modern, lay perfectly flat, and look incredible on a coffee table.

After your gallery is delivered, I'll work with you to design an album that will become an heirloom for your family. Albums must be prepaid before design begins and typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete (including revisions). Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day.

THE PERFECT WAY TO REMEMBER YOUR WEDDING DAY

celebrating a season

celebrating a season

Unless you’re a model, being photographed probably feels a little awkward. I do this for a living and still feel out of my element when having our family photos taken! That said, an engagement session is included because I truly believe it plays a vital part towards achieving exceptional wedding day portraits. It gives us the chance to get to know each other, and allows you to get comfortable in front of the camera. I know that it takes time for most couples to warm up to being photographed, and through the engagement session you'll learn to understand how I direct posing. Then, I’m able to arrive on your wedding day knowing the way you interact with each other and how to photograph your love in a genuine way.

Also, timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and sometimes thirty minutes may be all we have for your portraits. Since you've been in front of my camera, you'll know what to expect with direction and posing, which will save us time and results with more variety in your portraits.

Aside from the gorgeous portraits we will take, what we get out of your engagement session is invaluable and it makes a HUGE difference for your wedding.

Engagement Sessions

Timeline Example

Whenever you would like! We can shoot this immediately upon booking or if you're from out of town, we can schedule something closer to the wedding day.

When should we schedule our engagement session?

When do you charge travel fees?

Gallery size varies depending on size of wedding party and number of guests, amount of details and formalities. I typically average around 125 final images PER hour of coverage, so you can expect at least 1000 images for an eight hour day. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high resolution images you can print anywhere.

How many photos will we receive?

Fantastic! In order to reserve your date, you will have to sign an online contract and pay a retainer of 30% of your package total. The balance is due two weeks prior to the wedding date.

We love your work and want to book. What is the next step?

I love traveling for weddings and engagement sessions, especially if the location is meaningful to the couple. A total of sixty miles of travel is included, and a custom quote will be sent if locations are outside those limits.

Images are guaranteed to be in your hands three weeks after your session and six weeks after your wedding, although they are usually up well before then.

How long does it take to get our images?

Eight hours is the minimum coverage I offer to ensure that I can fully capture the day. Even with a small wedding, the timeline usually stays the same. However, I do offer special pricing for elopements and microweddings.

We are having a small wedding.
Can we book less than 8 hours?
